Our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) supports adults, children, adolescents, and young adults with serious mental illness or emotional disturbance who have been referred by a licensed professional of the healing arts based on ongoing treatment or recent inpatient hospitalization.
PRP services are collaborative, person-directed, and individualized. The program focuses on helping members learn essential life skills for independent living and meaningful life roles at home, in the community, and at work or school.
Through life skills training and coaching, clients work on tasks such as organizing their day, managing money, caring for their living space, following through with appointments, building social skills, strengthening communication, handling conflict, and connecting with community resources.
Services are goal-directed, outcome-focused, and time-limited. PRP support is provided only as long as it continues to be medically necessary to reduce symptoms, restore functioning, and help each individual reach an appropriate level of independence and daily stability.
